Two Year Extension of Integrated Support Service for Food and Nutrition Security and Sustainable Agriculture contract

The EU has awarded Landell Mills a two year extension for the service contract 'Integrated Support Service for Food and Nutrition Security and Sustainable Agriculture (ISS-FANSSA)'. The contract will now run until December 2019.

ISS-FANSSA is a technical advisory service providing support to Unit C1 of the European Commission's Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development (DG DEVCO). Unit C1 deals with rural development, food security and nutrition. Technical support is provided to EU Delegations, as well as C1 Policy Officers, and focuses on monitoring and evaluation, knowledge sharing and communication, gender inclusion, and land governance in the field of sustainable agriculture, food security and nutrition.

The service started in January 2014 and so far it has mobilised 110 experts for 114 specific assignments in support of DEVCO-C1 and 25 EU Delegations around the world.
