Landell Mills announces contract extension for the Evaluation Support Service
Landell Mills is pleased to announce a two year extension of the Evaluation Support Service (ESS) through which we have been providing support to the European Commission's Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA, formerly DG DEVCO) since early 2017.
Our Brussels-based core team, which is closely supported by Landell Mills' Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Division, provides hands-on technical support to EU Delegations worldwide, through a dedicated, rapid response helpdesk. So far, we have responded to over 1200 requests for support from EU Delegations, with a 97.5% satisfaction rate.
The ESS also promotes innovative evaluation practice, such as through the Evaluation in Hard to Reach Areas Initiative, which was launched in 2019 and updated in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 with a range of webinars, tools and materials aimed at ensuring that those commissioning and practising evaluation can deliver high quality evaluation even in the most challenging contexts.
Other activities of the ESS contract include quality assurance services, development of methodological guidance, such as Evaluation with Gender as a Cross-Cutting Dimension, and knowledge sharing on how best to disseminate evaluations to maximise learning.
We are delighted that the extension of this contract will enable us to continue our cooperation with DG INTPA to continuously strengthen its evaluation practice and promote a learning culture. Further information on the work of the ESS can be found here.
