Landell Mills at DCED “Mega Trends in Private Sector Development” Conference
Landell Mills Project Executive, Sophie Mottram, presented at a conference organised by the Donor Committee for Enterprise Development (DCED) and hosted by SIDA in Copenhagen on 17th June 2015. Sophie is the Project Coordinator of the DFID-funded programme Working in Partnership to Accelerate Agricultural Technology Transfer (AgriTT) managed by Landell Mills.
AgriTT is a trilateral development programme between the UK, China and a number of African countries.The project linksChina's expertise in agricultural technology with the UK's experience in implementing development projects. Sophie's presentation detailed how trilateral cooperation works in practice, including benefits, challenges and how the programme is engaging the private sector.
Sophie presented alongside 12 other speakers from organisations including McKinsey Global Institute, Bayer Materialscience and PWC. Participants shared their experiences of leading initiatives in trilateral cooperation and private sector development. The conference was attended by a large audience of donor representatives including DFID, SIDA, Danida, EC and FAO.
