Landell Mills awarded three new specific contracts under Services for External Action (SEA) 2023 Lot 3

We’re pleased to share that Landell Mills’ Frameworks (FWC) division has recently been awarded three contracts under Services for External Action (SEA) 2023 Lot 3 – Food Systems, Sustainable Agriculture and Nutrition.

The Technical Assistance, Restoration of Livestock Assets and Systems in Conflict and Drought Affected Areas of Ethiopia contract has a value of €1,752,200 and will take place over a period of three years. Landell Mills will provide the European Union Delegation (EUD) to Ethiopia with technical assistance in planning, monitoring and coordination. We will also provide technical advice to four implementing partners under the Restoration of Livestock Services in Conflict and Drought-Affected Areas of Ethiopia (RESTORE) programme, which aims to support sustainable recovery and improved productivity of Ethiopia's livestock sector. The RESTORE programme will ensure significant support for Ethiopia’s recovery from conflict and drought, fostering resilience and growth in its vital livestock sector.

The Technical Assistance and Third Party Monitoring towards the Regional Programme in Livestock and Pastoralism for Climate Change Adaptation in Eastern/Horn of Africa contract has a value of €773,050. Over four years, Landell Mills will provide the EUD to Kenya with technical expertise for implementation of the regional programme, through the collection and dissemination of technical information gathered from field visits. The contract will be implemented across a range of countries, including Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda, Sudan and South Sudan.

The Identification and Formulation of an EU-Funded Action on Sustainable Food Systems and Rural Development contract will run for one year. Through the contract, Landell Mills will support the EUD to Georgia with the design of future European Union (EU) support to Georgia – including possible implementation modalities – in the area of sustainable food systems and rural development. The contract has a value of €199,170 and its objective is to develop an inclusive economy, business and trade across key sectors of the economy.
