This follows our recent contract wins under SEA 2023 Lot 3 – Food Systems, Sustainable Agriculture and Nutrition.

The first contract is titled Support to the Office of the Vice-President on Youth and Job Creation and will run for three years. It has a value of €914,100. Implemented by our consortium partner Linpico, this project will support the European Union Delegation (EUD) to Nigeria with the creation of new green and smart jobs for youth through the enhancement of employability and entrepreneurship, and the improvement of innovation and digitalisation. This will be achieved by engaging with the Office of the Vice President in efficient programmes and policy-related interventions; and facilitating EU policy dialogue with the Office of the Vice President on digitalisation, innovation and youth employment.

The second contract is titled Global Gateway Business Advisory Group (BAG) Facility and has a value of €1,830,700. Over two years, Landell Mills will support the Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA), the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR), and relevant European Union Delegations (EUDs) to increase the participation of the private sector in Global Gateway projects mobilising private investment; and develop priority Global Gateway investment projects.

The BAG Facility will also support a range of discussions, including:

  • improvements to information on Global Gateway provided to European Union (EU) companies.
  • improvements to public procurement practices abroad to ensure a level playing field for EU companies.
  • access to finance to develop strategic investment projects and support the internationalisation of EU companies under the Global Gateway strategy.
