Landell Mills’ Marketing and Communications (MKT) division recently gave a presentation to company staff that provided an update on the division’s contracts with a range of European Union Delegations (in ASEAN, Nigeria, Cambodia, and Rwanda); in-house marketing; and the outlook for the division.

The presentation was part of Landell Mills’ series of ‘Lunch and Learn’ sessions, given by Landell Mills' staff to their colleagues. The sessions are designed to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and expertise between company divisions.

The MKT division covered a range of contracts in their ‘Lunch and Learn’ session, including:

  • Communication and Visibility for EU Cooperation ASEAN, a €3.55 million contract with the EU Delegation to ASEAN (Jakarta), which aims to promote the visibility of EU regional cooperation programmes in ASEAN and Indonesia.
  • Technical Assistance to improve EU Visibility in Policy Areas and Development Cooperation, a €5.74m contract with the EU Delegation to Nigeria, which aims to improve EU visibility by increasing and sustaining the awareness amongst the Nigerian population on the role of the EU and its contributions to development in Nigeria.
  • Communication and visibility of the EU cooperation with Cambodia, a €3.2m contract with the EU Delegation to Cambodia, which aims to enhance EU relations, partnership and cooperation with the Kingdom of Cambodia through more effective communication and visibility of the EU’s principles and values, external policies, and actions.
  • Strategic Communication and Public Diplomacy for the EU Delegation to Rwanda, a €899k contract with the EU Delegation to Rwanda, which aims to 1) enhance the understanding of Rwandan stakeholders of the nature and purpose of the EU, its values and interests, its external and sector policies insofar as they concern Rwanda, and the EU-Africa and EU-Rwanda partnership; and 2) sustain the visibility of the EU (including its Member States) and communicate its contribution to development progress in Rwanda effectively.

Updates on activities carried out under each contract were shared, including management of events for a wide range of audiences, development and implementation of social media strategies, production of branded visibility materials, and organisation of communication training workshops.
