Landell Mills wins African Peace Facility communication project
Landell Mills has won a new EU-funded communications contract, ‘EU-Africa actions on peace and security through the African Peace Facility Communication plan.’
The African Peace Facility (APF) is the EU’s key financial instrument to support cooperation with Africa in the area of peace and security. The objective of the two-year project is to increase awareness and visibility of the APF through the delivery of communication materials and activities.
These activities will include developing a communications strategy; organising two outreach events (one in Brussels and one in Addis Ababa); producing film documentaries about the indirect effects of the APF to be shown across Africa and Europe; obtaining media coverage across print, online, radio and TV; and promoting the APF via social media.
The project aims to raise awareness of the APF and related projects, among national, regional, continental and international peace and security institutions, as well as academics and students, CSOs, NGOs and think tanks.
