UNICEF publishes Malaysia 2022-2025 Country Programme Evaluation, supported by Landell Mills

The Malaysia 2022-2025 Country Programme Evaluation was commissioned by the UNICEF Malaysia Country Office in 2024, and conducted between May and December 2024, with the support of an evaluation team provided by Landell Mills. As the first independent Country Programme Evaluation for Malaysia, this report comes at a critical and strategic moment as the country aims to graduate to High-Income Country status within the next five years.

The evaluation will inform the next Country Programme for 2026-2030 which will have a strong focus on:

The evaluation covers the period 2022-2025 and focuses on the relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability of the Country Programme; and the extent to which cross-cutting issues such as equity, human rights, disability inclusion, gender equality and child rights were integrated. The evaluation also assesses UNICEF’s strategic positioning among the development community and national partners.
