Founded in 1975, Landell Mills is a multidisciplinary international consultancy providing a range of development-oriented services that aim to assist countries and their people attain the sustainable development goals. In the last decade, Landell Mills has successfully implemented over 800 contracts for clients including the European Union, Asian Development Bank and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
Landell Mills’ work spans four thematic areas: Markets, enterprise and trade; agriculture, fisheries, food security and nutrition; environment, water, climate change and disaster risk reduction; and policy dialogue, regional integration and governance.
Service areas include: project feasibility and design; project management; technical advisory services; monitoring, evaluation and learning; and communications.

2020 - 2024
Africa RISE (Reform for Investment and Sustainable Economies) was a demand-driven regional technical assistance facility funded by the European Union (EU). It was implemented from 2020-2024 by a consortium led by Landell Mills, with support from Adam Smith Europe, Imani Development and International Economics.
2019 - 2022
Visibility for Addressing Environmental and Climate Change challenges through Improved Forest Management in Jamaica (IFMJ) was a communication and visibility contract implemented by Landell Mills from 2019-2022. The aim of the project was to highlight the positive impact of EU development assistance for the Jamaican forestry sector.
2017 - 2023
The ECOFAC 6 (Preserving Biodiversity and Fragile Ecosystems in Central Africa) programme supported sixteen protected areas, including eight priority conservation landscapes. It spanned Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Gabon, and Sao Tome and Principe.
