The Private Sector Development Programme (PSDP) was a five year project, which provided Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) with professional consultation and training in addition to actual business-to-business development services targeting EU based companies interested in finding viable Egyptian business partners. A primary objective of the project was to increase the competitiveness of Egyptian private sector SME manufacturing and service companies and to promote export opportunities.
There were four primary components to the PSDP: business upgrading, market and export development, business co-operation and information and training.
