Call for experts with regional expertise in Africa

Due to recent business development opportunities, we are looking to recruit for a variety of new consultancy positions in the coming months. We are seeking to recruit high calibre senior consultants with comprehensive geographical experience in Africa and in implementing projects relating to food systems, sustainable agriculture and nutrition.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience working for donors such as the EU; Millenium Challenge Corporation; UK FCDO; UNDP; USAID; World Bank; GiZ and WFP. We are also interested in candidates with experience working with regional organisations such as the African Union, ECOWAS, SADC, EAC, COMESA, and CEN-SAD.

We are also looking for experts with team leadership experience, and with the following technical experience:

• Sustainable agriculture, including enabling environment (standards, policies and regulations), production and infrastructure, and value chain development, etc.
• Gender equality in agriculture.
• Livestock.
• Fishery and aquaculture.
• Food security and nutrition.
• Extension, training, capacity building and institutional development.

Activities in this area may include strategic leadership and planning of technical assistance projects, including stakeholder engagement and management, technical oversight of projects, capacity building tasks, sharing of innovation and best practice, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting.
